Desk with notebook and laptop

Specific stories beat general claims.

0 words in your notes

Follow each scholarship's word limit and instructions. Your final essay must be your own work.

Working with referees

Good references take planning:

  • Ask at least 6 to 8 weeks before the deadline
  • Choose people who know your work well
  • Share your CV, the award details and the deadline
  • Explain what you would like them to highlight
  • Send a polite reminder and say thank you

Before you submit

A final check:

  • Re-read the eligibility and instructions
  • Check every document is complete and the right format
  • Proofread the essay, and respect the word limit
  • Submit through the official channel, ideally days early
  • Save the confirmation and a copy of everything

All scholarship FAQs →
How early should I start?

Ideally 12 to 18 months before your course starts, as some deadlines are a year ahead. Even a few weeks is enough for a focused application.

Where should I apply?

Only through the official website of the university, government or awarding organisation. Do not use links from unsolicited messages.

How many should I apply for?

Several suitable ones. Focus on quality and fit, because tailored applications work better than many generic ones.

Can you write my essay?

No. Your essay must be your own work. We can review drafts and give feedback on structure and clarity.

Can you guarantee a scholarship?

No. Only the awarding organisation decides. We help you find suitable options and prepare strong applications.
